Which creators are eligible for the SAND rewards?
To be eligible for the top 3 position rewards, the participants need to be a verified creator or have a KYC account. However, 4th to 10th positions don’t need a KYC account.
Participants can become a verified creator by having a studio linked with a GMF account or by having participated in 5 contests with a placement in the top 10 at least once.
Guidelines for participants to follow
The submissions for the contest are now open, and it will run until 6th August, 11:59 PM UTC. The final results of the contest will be announced on 17th – 18th August.
Participants must use an equipment template for their submissions to be valid. To submit the entries, players need to create a GIF of their fully animated asset and fill out the contest’s Google Form with the relevant information. They can also tweet the GIF with a tag to @VoxEdit and @TheSandboxGame with the hashtags #VoxEdit and #RiseOfTheMemes.
The Sandbox has stated that it can disqualify low-effort or spammed entries at their discretion. This also applies to claiming someone else’s creation. Furthermore, elements with discriminative or offensive imagery will be disqualified.
It is also important for the submissions to be original. Creators can’t use characters or assets belonging to another company such as Marvel, Sega, Disney, Nintendo, etc.
The entries must be created using The Sandbox’s VoxEdit tool. There are a few other important VoxEdit contest guidelines that creators should check before they start working on their entries.
