Nodle grants Berty $1M to improve Bluetooth messaging capability | Invezz

Nodle, a decentralized wireless network based in San Francisco, granted private communication platform Berty Foundation the amount of $1 million in Nodle Cash to improve development of its messaging Bluetooth peer-to-peer capabilities, Invezz learned from a press release.

The grant will be used to advance and develop Berty’s platform, which boosts users’ privacy while messaging and chatting within its network.

Berty is a much-needed privacy-ensuring alternative to instant messaging platforms. The company guarantees security and privacy of messages through a privacy-by-default platform they built “using the best encryption protocol available” according to the website.

Micha Benoliel, CEO and Co-Founder of Nodle said, commented:

Berty, which is a French company, stores user data on a decentralized platform even though the data is encrypted. The Berty Foundation team said in a statement:
