AEREDIUM, a blockchain company developing payment and settlement infrastructure for tokenized assets, has joined the Lava Tokenization Sandbox together with Lava Foundation and Bretagne Holding Limited (BHL). The partners will explore how tokenized RWAs can work with both traditional and blockchain-based financial systems using the $5.4 billion Alba Bay development in the Dominican Republic as a testing environment.

AEREDIUM is evaluating payment-agnostic settlement technology that allows investors to pay with bank transfers, payment cards, stablecoins, or digital assets across different blockchain networks. The platform automatically converts payments into the asset selected by the developer and completes the transaction through atomic settlement.

Bretagne Holding Limited, a real estate development company, provides the Alba Bay project as the reference environment for testing. Lava Foundation supports the initiative through Lava Network, a decentralized blockchain connectivity infrastructure.

The companies stated that the collaboration focuses on research and technology evaluation. It does not include a public token sale, securities offering, or the launch of a tokenized investment product. Instead, the partners aim to study how future infrastructure could support wider institutional adoption of tokenized RWAs.
