The HBAR Foundation said the development helps them and the community move closer to a credible carbon market at a micro level. Independent third parties may now undertake the validation process.
Integrating its ALLCOT portfolio with Hedera Network allows the latter to ensure transparency of financial flows in carbon markets. The HBAR Foundation introduced the concept of regenerative finance. It is referred to by the acronym ReFi and aims to benefit the global south with a low- or close-to-no-carbon future. It is based on the fundamental principle of restructuring financial relations.
