The CEO of Uber has confirmed that they will deal with cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin.

In an interview with CNBC yesterday, the CEO of Uber was confronted on the topic of Bitcoin. To all the surprises, the response from D. Khosrowshahi was more than positive when he stated that they would deal with cryptocurrency or Bitcoin.
"Just like we accept all kinds of local currency we are going to look at cryptocurrency and or #bitcoin in terms of currency to transact. D. Khosrowshahi thinks it would be good for business as well as their riders and eaters. In the end, however, he assured everyone that they would not do so as part of the promotion.
Uber Technologies, Inc., is based in San Francisco and has operations in over 900 metropolitan areas worldwide. Uber is estimated to have over 78 million monthly active users worldwide.
