Institutional investors’ interest in Bitcoin has entered a strong upward trend again. According to data from asset management company Bitwise, institutional Bitcoin demand has reached its highest level since October 2025.
According to the data released, institutional investors purchased a total of 81,200 Bitcoins last month alone. This amount is approximately six times the amount of new Bitcoin produced during the same period. Experts state that this situation could significantly affect the supply-demand balance in the market and create upward pressure on prices.
Given the limited nature of Bitcoin’s supply, this increase in institutional demand is considered a critical development for market dynamics. The re-entry of large funds and financial institutions into the market is also seen as a confidence-boosting factor for individual investors.
Analysts point out that institutional investors generally operate with long-term strategies, emphasizing that such large-scale purchases indicate long-term price expectations rather than short-term fluctuations. Furthermore, the increasing interest in spot Bitcoin ETFs and the clarity provided in the regulatory framework are also cited as factors supporting this surge in demand.
According to market experts, if institutional demand remains at current levels, Bitcoin price could see stronger upward movements in the coming period.
