Cardano (ADA), Toncoin (TON), and Trust Wallet Token (TWT) were all able to secure price increases over the past 24 hours. This is despite the fact that most of the top 100 cryptocurrencies took a minute stumble heading into the weekend, according to CoinMarketCap.
Cardano (ADA)
ADA was the only top 10 token by market capitalization that was able to see its price rise over the past day of trading. At press time, the Ethereum-killer was trading at $0.2629 after its price rose by 1.66%. Additionally, ADA also secured a more than 4% price increase in the past week.
Meanwhile, ADA’s 24-hour trading volume settled at around $104,536,926 after it dropped by 0.15% throughout the past day. While October is already looking more optimistic for ADA, the altcoin will have to manage a price increase of over 91% to surpass its all-time high price of $3.10 which it reached in September of 2021.
Toncoin (TON)
TON made significant gains in the past 24 hours, experiencing a price spike of more than 7%. At press time, the token was valued at approximately $2.11, just slightly below its peak price of $2.12 that it reached over the past day.
Additionally, TON saw a significant increase in its 24-hour trading volume, surging by 72.79% to reach $24,561,601. This surge in price and trading activity led to a boost in TON’s market capitalization, which stood at $7,265,075,620. As a result, TON was ranked as the 11th largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
Trust Wallet Token (TWT)
Overall, the past week has been very good for TWT, as its price was able to climb by more than 22% throughout the past seven days alone. In addition to this, the altcoin’s price also rose by 4.09% in the past 24 hours of trading, which meant that TWT was trading at $0.9483.
TWT’s latest price success allowed it to gain strength against the market leader, Bitcoin (BTC), by about 3.94%. The token’s performance over the monthly time frame was also still firmly rooted in the green zone at +18.98%.
