Waves CEO Considers a Token Buyback

Waves CEO Alexander IVANOV created a poll on Twitter to ask the Waves community whether to consider the buyback of tokens. The survey currently shows 69% in favor of the "buyback."

Thus, a poll on Twitter conducted by Ivanov demonstrates a rather positive attitude of the Waves community: more than 4,800 votes were submitted, of which 69% were in favor of buying a token and 31% were against.

Also in a series of tweets, Ivanov explained to his followers the exact definition of the token buyback. Despite the results of a survey that the vast majority of members of the Waves community support the initiative, it is not clear yet whether the Waves managers will actually proceed with the implementation.

Skeptics argue that Waves in recent months has shown a fall in value, and it is possible that such initiatives are the result of a negative trend. Waves is currently trading at $ 1.94, having decreased by almost 10% per last 24 hours.
