John McAfee: Bitcoin still the best long-term investment
MGT Capital Investments founder, John McAfee, also creator of the eponymous antivirus program, has made it clear on Twitter that Bitcoin still remains an asset worth investing even though it dipped down after reaching 20,000 this December. He even called it the best long-term investment tool.
Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency community started to question McAfee’s credibility as a crypto adviser, because screenshots of messaging with allegedly his account were published, in which he agreed to promote what he was offered in exchange for project shares. While McAfee himself denied the authenticity of those screenshots, he decided to change his “Coin of the Day” tweets to “Coin of the Week” every Monday morning.
Other famous antivirus creator, Evgeniy Kaspersky, told this year that the world is still not ready for the full usage of cryptocurrency and only in 300 years it would become similar to what some cryptocurrency enthusiasts believe is going to happen just in a decade or so. McAfee is more focused on prices and today’s matters than futurology, although once he promised to eat his own genitalia in case Bitcoin does not reach 1 million dollar by 2020.
