Travala Expands The Options Of Booking Accommodation For Cryptocurrency

Online travel booking platform Travala.com has added one million new homes in 195 countries to its site with a dedicated home booking section called "Homes." Vacation homes and apartments can be booked with over 30 different cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, BNB and Travala.com's own AVA coin.

The Travala blog says the addition of a new «Homes» section marks the company's entry into one of the fastest growing trends in the travel industry. According to Travala.com CEO Juan OTERO, the demand for off-hotel accommodations is growing rapidly, so the new “Homes” product launched at just the right time. Now tourists have the opportunity to book more than three million company's offers for cryptocurrency.

This week Travala.com announced its partnership with booking giant Agoda. As a reminder, earlier in July 2020 and November 2019, partnerships were signed with Expedia and Booking.com, respectively. In addition, the travel booking platform has also partnered with the blockchain booking service TravelByBit.
