Reports: Vitalik Buterin considered Google employment offer then swiftly deleted tweets

Those who follow the Twitter account of Vitalik Buterin and regularly check for new tweets have noted an interesting event connected with two tweets of Ethereum creator about Google. If the screenshot below is not fake, the talented blockchain coder has been invited to work for Google and asked the audience if they deem this scenario acceptable:

Further investigation shows that Elizabeth Garcia indeed exists and works as an Engineering Recruiter for Google. The email address shown by Vitalik Buterin might have been one of the reasons he deleted the tweet chain and another very likely answer - maybe he realized that the community doesn’t want him leave Ethereum (59% at the time the screenshot was made).

Note that there is also a possibility that the developer has been pranked and the message was fake, as some email services can change the sender address to a fake one. He didn’t comment this incident ever since.

Vitalik Buterin has demonstrated his skepticism about the current state of the cryptocurrency sphere several times. There are too much people who want to get easy money, while others are overestimating blockchain and viewing it as a way to completely change the society, expert thinks.
