Out of thin air: Institute of Network Cultures scientist designs mining mechanism based on breathing
While Kodak is introducing its relatively traditional mining rig in hopes to attract more investment, the scientist who works at the Institute of Network Cultures in Amsterdam decided to invent a very atypical tool of mining - spirometer, as he called it. The thing about this new device is it does not use the air to power mining, it actually makes the mining conducted on computer dependable of the amount of exhales and inhales the test subject does.
It seems that Monero has been chosen by Max Dovey, this scientist, to ease the mining process - Bitcoin mining has become a business so serious it demands hangars in order to reach a successful and profitable outcome. The researcher also tells he did not build this apparatus to make money, but rather, to experiment with the blockchain technology.
Another unusual mining device that comes to mind is, of course, that mining suit also developed by the science team in the Institute of Human Obsolescence, and also in Netherlands. It looks like this country is becoming the land of the most obscure science projects connected with mining and cryptocurrency.
