Google Cloud to Join EOS Community

Google Cloud, a global provider of hyperscale clouds and infrastructure, will join the EOS community – currently as a candidate for EOS Network block producers. Engaging a candidate of the Google Cloud's level is an important milestone for the EOS network. Google Cloud's planned engagement as one of the global leaders in technological innovation underlines the importance of blockchain to the future of business, government and society.

Google Cloud will leverage its own best-in-class infrastructure that provides stability, reliability, security, and a vast global network coverage architecture that is great for public blockchain networks like EOS.

Dan LARIMER, CTO at Block.one, said:

As a block producer candidate, Google Cloud must be selected by token holders to secure a position in the ranks of block producers on the EOS network. Google Cloud will publish a microsite highlighting their participation in the EOS network as a chosen block producer.
