EXMO Crypto Exchange Hacked

On December 21, funds were withdrawn from hot wallets of the EXMO exchange. The security audit report showed that funds were withdrawn from hot wallets BTC, XRP, ZEC, USDT, ETC and ETH. Affected hot wallets account for around 5% of total assets.

EXMO exchange representatives said that all assets in cold wallets are safe. If any user fund is affected by this incident, it will be fully covered by EXMO funds.

Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and all withdrawals from the exchange are suspended. Users are also asked not to make deposits to EXMO wallets. The incident was reported to the London Police.
