Everybody talks about Bitcoin, but Litecoin shows good dynamics too
Litecoin is growing fast since the beginning of this December, jumping from 88 to 161 United States dollars per one coin, which is approximately +182%. There were times when Litecoin was considered a very serious alternative to Bitcoin, but since then, Bitcoin Cash emerged and it managed to swiftly drive rivals from the third place in Coinmarketcap’s Top 3.
This cryptocurrency is now moving towards $200, and it is very likely to hit this value. This means Litecoin has managed not to lose its core fanbase. It started as a test field for Bitcoin technological proposals. Creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee, who is interested in the further Bitcoin growth, is seen welcoming the latest Bitcoin jumps, being aware it is going to benefit Litecoin too. He also notes big Litecoin trading volumes on GDAX.
Other altcoins which lately jumped in price are: IOTA (with the developers of which Ethereum team has recently clashed) and Monero (after the appraisal from John McAfee and the news about the top singers deciding to sell their albums for this cryptocurrency).
Altcoins, this means, can sometimes be investments equally beneficial to Bitcoin. Some experts even tell that over time, some more developed cryptocurrency might drive out Bitcoin from the throne of the first cryptocurrency, but the current situation does not show any signs of this happening soon.
