Deutsche Börse Acquired A Majority Stake In Crypto Finance
German stock exchange Deutsche Börse has acquired a majority stake in Swiss digital asset management company Crypto Finance. The deal was completed on December 15th. The deal value was not disclosed. In June, it was talked about the amount in Swiss francs in the three-digit millionth range.
Deutsche Börse will now be able to provide its partners and clients with direct and easy access to digital asset services, including post-trading services. A wide range of digital assets will become available to existing customers and new market players. In addition, synergies will facilitate the optimization of exchange processes and systems.
Crypto Finance AG offers cryptocurrency trading, storage and investment tools in over 200 digital assets for institutional and professional clients. The Zug company is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). Eric LEUPOLD, Head of Cash Market at Deutsche Börse, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crypto Finance.
