Comics Artist Neal Adams Launches NFT Auction Featuring Batman And Other Superheroes

Neal ADAMS, a comic book artist, has announced an auction to sell nine unique non-fungible tokens (NFT) representing his artworks. According to Adams, the auction on the Portion.io marketplace includes NFTs featuring pages from Batman: Odyssey featuring Batman, Robin, and Talia al Ghul.

Adams' NFT collection also includes three pages from the graphic novel Blood, published by Dark Horse Comics, as well as a cover from Megalith # 4: Rise of Magic. The upcoming Megalith cover and two Fantastic Four pages from the new Antithesis series published by Marvel Comics this year are also included in the artist's NFT collection.

The popularity and revenue of comic-based NFTs continues to grow. Last October, Washington-based artist José DELBO and crypto artist Trevor JONES sold a series of rare Batman NFT works for $ 200,000. More recently, Delbo and crypto artist Hackatao NFT artwork based on Wonder Woman grossed $1.85 mln. Part of the funds went to charity. In February, several Marvel artists also started selling their NFTs on Portion.io.
