CoinMarketCap Updated Service with Data on Crypto Derivatives

CoinMarketCap, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and market data source, now offers its users information about derivatives market. The list includes more than 35 cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, EOS, Litecoin, BCH, Binance Coin, etc.

Since the cryptocurrency derivatives market has been actively developing in recent years and becoming increasingly popular among investors, especially institutional ones, CoinMarketCap decided to expand the data.

Today, the most popular forms of cryptocurrency derivatives on the market are futures and options. Currently, the new service is focused on the market of perpetual swaps, which are essentially futures without a specific future delivery or expiration date. CoinMarketCap service monitors and provides data from ten exchanges on which derivatives are traded, including BitMEX, OKEx, Binance, Deribit, FTX, Bybit, Kraken Futures, BTSE and BaseFEX.

According to CoinMarketCap, the company plans to add and provide data for more markets and exchanges.
