Cardano Reaches 1 Mln Active ADA Wallets

According to the Cardano Foundation, 70 percent of all ADA is used in 2,500 active pools worldwide, with the number of active wallets reaching one million. The week has been tough for many cryptocurrencies. Most projects have lost more than 50 percent of their value. The ADA is down 56% this week, trading at $1.13. However, the Cardano community is growing rapidly.

Cardano is now one of the leading crypto projects in the world. Apart from rising prices, one of the main reasons is a strong community that believes in the long-term prospects of the project. 70% of the ADA in circulation was used in 2,490 staking pools. At an exchange rate of $1.26, this equates to almost $29 bln.

The Cardano community has donated half a billion dollars in ADA for charity. Rewards generated by ADA go to over 100 charities around the world. Cardano has also established itself as a leader in blockchain for network development, beating veterans like Ethereum and Bitcoin.
