Buterin Unveils Ethereum 2.0 Roadmap
Vitalik BUTERIN in a series of tweets published a very detailed Ethereum (ETH) 2.0 development roadmap for the next 10 years. Many followers on Twitter said the roadmap is too complicated. In response, Buterin emphasized that this roadmap represents only his own view of how the Ethereum network will be developed.
This is my approximate view of what the next ~5-10 years of eth2 and beyond might look like.

According to his plan of further development, the initial stage of Ethereum 2.0 — Phase 0 or the Beacon Chain — will reconsider some elements of Ethereum 1.0, including Gas pricing, client synchronization, fee policy rescheduling in terms of EIP 1559. As a result, a light version of the Ethereum 2.0 client will be integrated into Ethereum 1.0. Once Phase 0 is launched, it will go through audits and tests.
Buterin noted that the roadmap is the result of a two-year research and development process that enabled Ethereum to create the perfect design for its future network. In addition, tremendous efforts have been made to ensure a smooth transition to a decentralized application infrastructure. However, the scheme is not final: the Ethereum network team seeks to reduce its complex parts. According to various estimates, Ethereum 2.0 may be launched by the middle of 2020.
