Bitpay Launches New XRP Support; Users Can Buy Gift Cards on Amazon

Bitpay is a platform widely used in thousands of different businesses that allows enterprises and individuals to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for payment. Bitpay recently added XRP as a supported cryptocurrency that can be used to buy gift cards even for Amazon.

It also means that customers will be able to use XRP in all major retail chains that have Bitpay support. Gift cards give cryptocurrency owners another way to spend their crypto assets on the following list of retailers and restaurants: Amazon, Burger King, DoorDash, Domino’s, GameStop and Home Depot.

In 2019, Ripple and XRP signed a significant number of partnerships. Some of the most prominent partner companies are MoneyGram, BRD wallet, the SALT crypto credit platform and ATM manufacturer General Bytes. Ripple’s Xpring has provided around $500 mln to companies which are going to help with the implementation of XRP. It is obvious that XRP is very committed to worldwide adoption and it is still quite active and successful, however this has not yet been reflected in its price.
