Binance Introduced Restrictions For Russian Users
21 April 2022 07:11, UTC
Binance restricts access to its services to users who live in Russia and have assets with a total value of more than €10,000. For users who meet these criteria, only the "withdrawal" function will now be available. Such information was published in the Binance technical support chat.
Once Russian users' accounts with more than €10,000 in assets are placed in "withdrawal only'' mode, they will not be able to trade on Binance or deposit additional funds into their accounts.
Binance stressed that they would support sanctions if required by the international community, but the crypto exchange has no plans to stop working in Russia.
