Binance and Rotary Support Hospitals in the Fight Against COVID-19

Binance Charity, the world’s first blockchain-powered donation platform, donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to Ukrainian medical staff who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus disease. Four Ukrainian hospitals received help from the Binance Charity Foundation. The charity event was held with the support of Rotary Kyiv International.

Due to the help of Binance Charity, more than 4,000 medical personnel received quality PPE. Changpeng ZHAO, CEO of Binance, commented on the initiative:

As a leading blockchain-empowered charity platform, we take it as a priority to unite the blockchain community and fight this global crisis together.”

Oksana Tjupa, head of the public organization Rotary Kyiv International, thanked Binance for supporting the medical staff in Ukraine. To date, more than 54,000 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Ukraine and more than 10,000 Ukrainians are currently being hospitalized in hospitals.
