Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Payments By The End Of The Year

Last Friday, Amazon posted a vacancy announcement that said the company is looking for a product specialist for its blockchain and crypto department. The specialist will be responsible for creating the strategy and product roadmap.

In addition to hiring a new specialist, Amazon also plans to integrate bitcoin payments by the end of this year. In this case, Amazon will become the second company in the top ten after Tesla to accept bitcoin payments. Following bitcoin, e-commerce giant Amazon will accept Ethereum, Cardano, and Bitcoin Cash.

In the final phase of the project, Amazon may also introduce its own cryptocurrency. It should be a multi-level infrastructure in which customers can pay for goods and services and earn tokens as loyalty points.
