ADA Staked On Cardano Network Reaches Record High

The number of ADA coins staked on the network peaked at 73.15% of total coins in circulation. At the time of this writing, there were 23.9 bln ADA staked across 921,323 delegates. The total number of ADA coins in circulation is only 33.26 bln coins. This means that less than 10 bln coins have not been staked.

Such indicators prove the growing confidence in the future of the project, which some in the crypto space call the blockchain of the future. An interesting fact behind Cardano staking is that coins are not locked in place. Unlike Ethereum, ADA holders can still transfer their coins if they want to sell them. However, a significant part of the community decided to take part in staking, which indicates the faith of the coin holders in the project.

At the time of this writing, the price of a digital asset, according to CoinMarketCap, was at $1.96. Cardano is ranked fifth in the top 10 cryptocurrencies with a market cap of $65 bln.
