Acker Accepts A Range of Cryptocurrencies in Its Stores and Online Auctions

The world's largest rare wine auction house, Acker, which hosts online auctions where collectors sell rare wines, will now accept a range of cryptocurrencies in retail and at the auctions themselves. In addition to Bitcoin, buyers can pay with Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. The company also accepts certain stablecoins PAX, Gemini Dollar and BUSD.

Acker uses the BitPay service to process crypto payments. BitPay receives crypto payments and converts them to fiat for the merchant.

The company has also added Bitcoin and Ethereum to its analytics platform Acker Markets, which compares the top producers in the wine auction market compared to other significant financial markets.
