Litecoin to Release Direct LTC to USD Conversion Card, Launches Ballet Litecoin Block

In partnership with Ternio, a blockchain-based firm that allows companies to become their own bank, the Litecoin Foundation on Tuesday, Aug 11th said in a Litening Series livestream that  LTC can now be stored and converted into fiat currency swiftly.

Litecoin Foundation said it was able to achieve the development by upgrading its partnership with Ternio.

Earlier in June 2019, Litecoin Foundation partnered with the Bibox Exchange and Ternio to release its first physical debit card.

At the moment, Ternio alongside Litecoin Card will be releasing a card that will allow for easy conversion of LTC into USD within seconds. Users can also store their LTC assets on the card after every purchase.

The foundation planned the development to better users’ experience by offering a truly decentralized means of finance.

Litecoin partnered the other two firms to roll out a crypto debit card christened BlockCard. BlockCard was designed to let customers keep digital assets like LTC, Bibox token (BIX), and Ternio (TERN), and spend them online and in physical stores.

Ballet Litecoin Block Unveiled

During the Hub Litening Series event, Litecoin Foundation pronounced that it also unveiled the Ballet Litecoin Block, this, Litecoin also collaborated with Ballet Crypto and Litecoin Pool for its launching.

Litecoin said it “is a .999 fine silver card,” and it come with a complete Litecoin block reward of 12.5+ LTC. The Ballet Litecoin Block can be purchased on ltcblock.com at the rate of 18 LTC each.

Ballet Crypto is known for the creation of crypto wallet in the form of card, and they do not require internet.

Litecoin Active Daily Addresses on Rise

Since the start of July, Litecoin’s daily active addresses have been on the rise again, data from Santiment has said.

At the start of the year, LTC had about 60K daily active users’ addresses. It peaked at 202K in March and dropped afterward. Another peak (year-to-date high) was achieved on June 5, recording 312K addresses but later dipped to 56K on June 21.

However, Litecoin’s daily active addresses have now begun changing form, and it is back on the rise. Today, August 12, there are 124K LTC daily active addresses.

According to the chart on Santiment, there seems to be a connection between the price of LTC and its daily active addresses, hence, we may be expecting more growth in the price of LTC in coming days.
