My Dash Wallet is, as the name suggests, a wallet for the Dash cryptocurrency

Dash was born as a Bitcoin fork in January 2014, which makes it one of the most long-lived cryptocurrencies in the crypto industry to date.

Whereas My Dash Wallet has been around since 2017 and aims to be a fast way to access and use the Dash cryptocurrency

After opening a My Dash Wallet, one of the possible features is to send Tips to others via Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit or e-mail.

This is a free and open-source Dash client interface, which allows interacting directly with the blockchain while maintaining full control over the private keys, hence the users have full control over their own funds.

It also includes support for Dash features such as InstantSend and PrivateSend.

The goal is to provide users with a fast experience similar to that of PayPal, without having to install any software, and maintaining full and total control of the funds.

One of the special features of My Dash Wallet is that it allows sending Dash even to people who do not have a wallet.

In fact, it manages to create a unique connection with a digital identity, so that any user can be assigned a public address to receive them.

This way it is possible to actually send Dash via Twitter, Telegram, Discord, or Reddit, or via email.

From a technical point of view, the creation of a My Dash Wallet account corresponds to the generation of a cryptographic set consisting of a private key and a public address. These keys are managed entirely on the user’s device, within the browser, which means that the website does not store, receive or transmit the private key, password or other information related to the account.

In other words, the website only acts as an interface between the user and the blockchain, not as a custodian of the keys.

For this reason, the website does not charge any additional fees for transactions.

This, on the other hand, means that the user is the sole custodian of the private keys, which cannot be retrieved in any way from the website in case the user loses them.

The website also offers a mixing service that allows performing private transactions. The mixing procedure is slightly more complex compared to the traditional sending procedure and can be used by anyone.

For those who don’t have a Dash wallet yet, My Dash Wallet can certainly be a good start, considering the speed with which an account can be opened, ready to be used.
