Jennifer Robertson, widow of QuadrigaCX founder Gerald Cotten, in addition to having a company registered in her name, owns a $7.5 million worth of real estate in Nova Scotia, CBC news reports.

Nova Scotia’s property registry shows Robertson, Cotten and her company bought 16 properties between May 2016 and October 2018, ranging from $94,000 for a waterfront lot in Lunenburg County to $2.5 million for nine row houses in Bedford.

Twelve of the properties are currently held by Robertson’s business, Robertson Nova Property Management where she is listed as president, secretary and sole director.

Two other properties, including Robertson and Cotten’s home, have been transferred to the Seaglass Trust. The Trust became the mortgage holder on all properties owned by Robertson Nova Property Management in January this year.

Additionally, Robertson has a further two more properties in her name. One is an island in Mahone Bay bought in September 2017 for $161,250, significantly below the island’s tax-assessed value of $349,400.

Government records have also revealed that Robertson has used three family names. Deeds for properties she bought in 2016 show her as Jennifer Forgeron. Then, in 2016 it was announced that she was changing he name from Jennifer Kathleen Margaret Griffith to her current name, Jennifer Kathleen Margaret Robertson.
