Hogan in a recent video tells that he has never seen this long delay in such an important lawsuit.

Attorney Jeremey Hogan is one such person who was overlooking the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit for very long now. Hogan recently explained that Judge Sarah Netburn, who’s hearing the case, is getting irritated. The reason is consistently changing stances of the SEC. He stated that the Judge is now losing patience with irresponsible behavior of the commission, given their continual rejection of order to handover several documents.

Hogan in a recent video on his YouTube channel, says that Ripple has been asking for emails related to the speech of William Hinman that he gave in 2018. He says that for more than a year and a half, they still do not have them. Hogan seems surprised over such a crucial lawsuit taking quite long. He said that he has never experienced anything like this.

Hogan and Hogan Partner, further added that many times on different instances, Judge Netburn has given orders to the agency and asked to produce the documents that Ripple demanded. Everytime the SEC comes up with filing objections again and again.

Not Just this, Hogan says that the SEC even does not stick to their story as they consistently change it. Take the matter of Hinman’s speech for instance, the SEC once said that it was his personal opinion or on the other instance they said its agency’s own opinion. As if it was not enough to confuse them, they came up with a new one stating that it was the opinion of Hinman’s division. Hogan says that such arguments make him believe that now it is enough for the Judge to listen.

In 2018, former director of the Division of Corporate Finance at the SEC—William Hinman—said that in his opinion, natvie crypto asset of the biggest smart contract network Ethereum, Ether (ETH) is not a security. And ironically, in 2020, the United States Security and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against Ripple Labs—accusing them of selling XRP tokens, considering it as an unregistered security.
