U.S SEC Files Fraud Charges Against McAfee Over $23.1M Earned From Promoting ICOs

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed fraud charges against tech entrepreneur John McAfee.

The authorities allege that the influencer received over $23.1 million to promote initial coin offerings (ICOs) on his Twitter account which boasts hundreds of thousands of followers. He did not disclose the payments here received for the promotions, either to the SEC or his audience.
