John McAfee confirms he’s still pressing ahead with his Presidential campaign, that’ll be ramping up in January 2019.

In a serie of Tweets, McAfee has given an update on the position of his campaign, confirming that he’s going to be kicking things off “in earnest” :

Beginning in January, I will kick off my campaign for POTUS in earnest. Expect to see vids way more intense than this example from my 2016 run. pic.twitter.com/ZFG9RyZuM3

McAfee, the controversial cryptocurrency defender confirmed that he’d been running for office again (having tried and failed to secure the Libertarian Party nomination on 2016).

Moreover, he’s been absolutely categorical from day one that he has absolutly no intention whatsoever of winning the race and he doesn't want to be President.

Presidents change nothing. Campaigns change minds.

Instead of that, he wants to use the profile of a Presidential run to bring the matter of cryptocurrency to the US National stage, Twitter users are getting excited :

I'm becoming a bigger fan of McAfee, everyday. Regardless of what you think of him, Trump becoming president proves that some of these crazy motherfuckers that I like can too. He's shown my generation that you don't have to be a career politician to do it. https://t.co/lqCH1ProUm
