IoTeX Co-Founder and Head of Blockchain Dr. Xinxin Fan is now one of Forbes Business Council’s most recently vetted and accepted contributors, the global media company announced.

Dr. Fan was vetted and selected by the Forbes Council review committee based on his in-depth expertise and vast trajectory as a scientist, cryptographer, and blockchain engineer.

Forbes Council’s criteria for accepting contributors include a track record of successfully impacting growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“We are honored to welcome Dr. Fan into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Business Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

As an accepted member of the Council, Dr. Fan has access to several exclusive opportunities designed to help him reach peak professional influence. The IoTeX co-founder will network and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum and at members-only events.

He will also receive invitations to collaborate with a professional editorial team to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com and contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.

The Forbes Council also provides Dr. Fan with exclusive access to vetted business service partners, membership-branded marketing collateral, and the high-touch support of the council’s member concierge team.

“I am excited to join this high-caliber community and share my insights and experience about blockchain and emerging machine economy on Forbes,” said Dr. Xinxin Fan. “I look forward to collaborating with other business leaders and technology experts to build a decentralized future together.”

Before IoTeX, Dr. Fan was a senior Security and Privacy Group research scientist at Bosch Research Technology Center North America. He sits on various working groups and committees at the Industry of IoT Consortium (IIC) and the  Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
