Step App Seeks Global Adoption

Jamaican sprinter and world 100 meter record holder Usain Bolt becomes the face of Step App. The MoveToEarn Non-fungible Token (NFT) platform aims to expand its userbase with the partnership.

Step App is on a mission to expand its global adoption to 10 million users and believes that Usain Bol is the perfect influencer to achieve that goal.

“Usain Bolt has helped boom the demand of global brands, and we’re proud to have his faith in Step App! This is a major milestone in our push for global adoption,” Step App tweeted on July 21.

Usain Bolt expressed excitement at the partnership deal through a short clip posted by Step App on Twitter. The sprinter said that being part of Step App’s innovation to create happiness through fitness and financial opportunities was vital to accepting the deal.

“When a company reaches out to me proposing that they can put these two functional happiness, money, and fitness into one experience, and you are to be part of this historic achievement. That’s why I am hugely excited to be the global face of Step App,” Bolt said.

The world's most famous athlete will join the protocol’s physical and social media events, be the face of the brand’s presentation, and more, to promote global adoption. In the meantime, the protocol is working on Bolt-partnered marketing events to commence its push to rival other top MoveToEarn projects in the industry, including StepN.

What is Step App:

Step App is a gamified health metaverse for the fitness ecosystem, powered by augmented reality. The platform rewards users for socializing and participating in fitness activities like walking, running, and jogging.

The protocol has its native blockchain, Step Network which is an Avalanche subnet, and token, $FITFI, powering its health metaverse. The platform recently launched the “Step Ecosystem Fund” to provide incentives for teams building on Step Network.
