Summary

Warner Records and Bose together to enter the world of Web 3.0 and NFTs

Warner Records, the famous California record label, will be the first major to create an NFT collection, thus beginning its venture into the Web3 space together with Bose.

With a message via Twitter, the company has, in fact, announced a new partnership with Bose, the well-known sound equipment manufacturer, to enter the Web 3.0 world. The partnership aims to create Stickmen Toys, a collection of 5,000 unique audiovisual NFTs.

The collection will include rare Bose-themed NFTs, redeemable for free, exclusive, and limited-edition Stickmen Toys headphones for new Bose QuietComfort 45 or SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speakers.

Owners of these NFTs will also get access to “The Playground,” a community with some perks for music fans such as live events, Stickmen Toys streetwear, physical collectibles, and future NFT projects from Warner Records.

Seb Simone, Vice President, Audience & Strategy at Warner Records, said:

“NFTs present a powerful extension of the artist-to-fan relationship, giving people the opportunity to invest in an artist’s future success and providing them value along the way. We’re proud to be the first major label providing collectors with authentic and meaningful ownership of the underlying audiovisual copyright, free to collectors. We’re even more thrilled to be collaborating with Bose on adding further value to the project.”

For the American acoustic equipment company, however, Jim Mollica, chief marketing officer of Bose, spoke:

“We’re delighted to bring one-of-a-kind Bose-themed NFTs to this unique collection with Warner Records and Stickmen Toys. Bose believes in exploring new and innovative ways to bring the power of sound to music-loving communities that share our passion. Participating in the emerging Web3 music space creates a great opportunity to do just that.”

How the collection will be composed

The project involves a specialized technology partner Kapsule, which will be responsible for designing and mapping the collections.

Each of these avatars, which will be part of the unique collection, is a mix of music and trend, Kapsule sources report.

Each character features personalized and hand-painted features. According to the specially created website, this audiovisual collection is exclusively dedicated to Warner Records users.

Combining music and fashion, each character will come with its own 30-second audio track, as well as customized and hand-painted features unique from NFT’s main collection, which will certainly become very appealing to fans of Warner and Bose acoustic products.

The minting date has yet to be announced.
