MetaMetaverse Drops MetaShip NFTs, Eases Cross-Metaverse Travel
The metaverse platform MetaMetaverse announced its MetaShip NFT drop on the OpenSea marketplace. The drop includes a set of 5,000 unique NFTs. Each NFT displays unique traits and properties and serves various purposes in the MetaMetaverse. The collection sale started on May 9 and will end on May 13. The MetaShip NFT is priced at 0.1 ETH.
In detail, the MetaShip drop helps MetaMetaverse to form a neo-phase in the NFT industry. Exclusive space vehicles will allow users to travel across various metaverses in the MetaMetaverse. Moreso, holding a MetaShip enables whitelist access for a tier 1 metaverse drop and allows the NFT holder to buy a metaverse in the next few months.
Joel Dietz, MetaMetaverse CEO and founder remarked:
“MetaMetaverse is the first step to building a spacefaring civilization. The MetaShips are your ticket to getting there. We are happy to see many people signing up and getting their ships.”
Despite the MetaShip NFT collection being a cross-chain upgradeable collection, it resides on the Ethereum blockchain. Upgrades occur through metametalang commands on Layer 2 solutions like Polygon. However, for authenticity and ownership proof, all the token IDs will remain stamped on the Ethereum blockchain.
The MetaShip collection consists of tier types of warships, which are distinguishable based on their uniqueness and colors.
- Common: blue and gray MetaShips (50% of the supply).
- Uncommon: green, yellow, and red MetaShips (45% of the supply).
- Rare: black and silver MetaShips (4.54% of the supply).
- Ultra rare: gold (0.55% of the supply).
MetaShips foster traversal and serve as a passport for the new virtual society. Also, the users can have access to new types of governance consistent with space-age civilization. More significantly, in the future, MetaShip will extend its benefits in buying land in the MetaMetaverse, and accessing upcoming blockchain games. Also, MetaShip owners can gain access to future NFT rewards and drops organized by MetaMetaverse.
