Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher & Snoop Dogg to Hold $1M Shark Tank Competition for NFT's

Billionaire Mark Cuban, actor Ashton Kutcher, and rapper Snoop Dogg combine to launch a $1 million Shark Tank-like event for non-fungible token (NFT) projects. Launched on Monday, “NFTs: The Pitch” is a competition sponsored by Sound Ventures, a Venture Capital firm comprising celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Snoop Dogg, and Mark Cuban. The competition aims to invest over $1 million to support the “most innovative ideas” in NFTs, the competition webpage reads. https://twitter.com/aplusk/status/1379131115835809792 Competitors will present their ideas and projects to a team of eight judges, including the Co-founder of Sound Ventures, Guy Oseary, Mark Cuban, Snoop Dogg, Ashton Kutcher, 3LAU, Metakovan, Whale Shark, and Linda Xie. The competition is not looking for finished products but rather “anyone around the world who is innovating with NFTs whether it's just an idea or a product in the market.” Notwithstanding, winners of the investment will have an opportunity to work with Sound Ventures “in the long term,” the report further states. Submissions to the competition will be closed on April 12^th, 2021 and the winners notified by April 16, 2021. Up to 30 finalists will be chosen to present their projects and ideas in a private live pitch with the judges on April 21, just over two weeks from now.
