Straight Fire has announced that its NFT player has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) with Polygon Mainnet.

With this integration, Straight Fire now has access to the auditable resource of randomness to help users get on-chain evidence that it developed underpinning distribution of the dynamic NFTs in a provably fair and unbiased manner by integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network.

Users may view all of their NFTs in one location with the Straight Fire NFT player, regardless of which Blockchain they were minted on. They may also share their NFT tales on social media, use augmented reality to connect the virtual and actual worlds, and list and sell NFTs on their chosen third-party NFT marketplace. Users may also browse creative spaces, talk about their loved NFTs in community sections, and list, purchase, and sell NFTs on the in-game market.

We require access to a secure random number generator (RNG) that any user can independently audit to avoid front-running and ensure that our dynamic NFTs are issued relatively. RNG solutions for smart contracts, on the other hand, need several security concerns to prevent manipulation and maintain system integrity. For example, miners/Validator can abuse RNG solutions generated from Blockchain data like block hashes. Still, off-chain RNG solutions produced from off-chain APIs are opaque and do not offer consumers conclusive confirmation of the process’ integrity.

After evaluating several options, straight Fire chose Chainlink VRF because it is based on cutting-edge academic research. Moreover, it has the backing of tried-and-true oracle infrastructure and is secured by generations and verified through on-chain cryptographic proofs. It helps in proving the authenticity of each number in smart contracts supplied.

About Chainlink

Chainlink is the standard method for creating, accessing, and selling oracle services, which are required to run hybrid smart contracts on any Blockchain. Smart contracts may connect to any external API and use safe off-chain calculations to provide feature-rich apps thanks to Chainlink oracle networks. Chainlink now protects billions across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other vital industries and offers a universal gateway for all blockchains to global companies and top data suppliers.
