Logan Paul Bought NFTs Worth Over $150,000

Another celebrity to be making a splash in the NFT metaverse is none other than the internet’s favorite Logan Paul. The 26-year old YouTuber’s recent fascination in crypto has caught the industry’s eyes by storm with his recently launched CryptoZoo project for owners to breed, trade, and collect hybrid animal NFTs.

He also got his hands on the industry’s most in-demand CryptoPunks NFTs with a $700,000 purchase for his favorite punk. The influencer seems to have made another splurge in digital collectibles for a whopping sum of $150,000.

“I literally left dinner last night to snag these”

Dubbed Rock 65 and Rock 68, Paul’s recent purchase consists of two NFTs pixelated images of rocks, resembling Minecraft.

While he admits the whole thing seemed strange for him calling it “ridiculous” he touted its digital history.

“I know it’s ridiculous but it’s digital history and I think they’re pretty cool.”

Investors are Buying Rock NFTs for Millions

The NFT world continues to fascinate with innovation, creativity, and sometimes absurdness. In a latest NFT trend, two projects, Ether Rock and We Like The Rocks (the latter of which Paul bought) feature bizarre collectibles of 100 unique pixelated images of rocks.

Both the NFTs were launched back in 2017 and outwardly appear quite similar. While both race to dominate as the OG NFT project, NFT enthusiasts continue to contemplate on which appears to be the trustable ‘rock’.

At the same time, Ether Rock cautions:

"Beware of any other projects claiming to sell rock NFT's, which may either be scams and/or using buggy exploited contracts (e.g. 'we like the rocks' or weliketherocks.com).”
