Music is a passion for many around the globe. Some find escape in creating wonderful music and some lose themselves in the music produced by other talented artists. Whether you are a creator or a listener, we have all shared a lot of love for music. Amongst many remarkable artists is Eddie Van Halen. Eddie was a musician and songwriter for the American rock band Van Halen.

Eddie co-founded this band with his brother Alex, who was a drummer. The band came to life in 1972 and continued to strengthen their fan base. In October 2020, Eddie Van Halen passed away in California. The legend’s family, friends, and fans have been heartbroken by this incident and are still in the process of recovering from the loss. He earned great respect and fame in the world of rock music.

After his long battle with cancer, Eddie’s soul bid goodbye to the world but his legacy still lives on. The music he had produced is loved and cherished by many. In order to preserve and keep the essence of his passion alive, one of Hollywood’s popular rock and roll underground lounges - the House of Petals will be making its 2022 metaverse debut with Eddie’s NFT Guitar Collection. This collection is more than just a virtual collection since it is backed with genuine custom guitars.

These instruments are priceless and memorable since they are possessions of the great Eddie Van Halen. The NFT’s are not only physical items but also give participants many unbelievable benefits. Special venues, numerous events, greenroom hangouts with many artists, players, influencers and various other perks will be released shortly after the minted release.

The founder of the House of Petals, Joey House, believes in bringing back the culture and soul of music and art of the 90s Hollywood Underground Lounge.

“That’s the core culture and true soul of the project,” says Joey. “I want to bring back some of that feeling of love and collaboration, that raw creative energy that really fuels the art and music world. I want to give that to people in this new incredible way.”

Duquan Brown of Future Media, HOP project lead marketing maven born out of the music industry, is focused on establishing legacy and the art of music in the metaverse in leading this project.

“What we are doing is historic. Now we will be able to share this experience with the WORLD. We want to memorialize the energy of the legendary speakeasy, through the Metaverse, but with a futuristic drip. We will be bold and have off the wall never the same twice experiences each time you enter the House of Petals.”

Many talented personalities are working to make this event a hit. They are ensuring that Eddie’s legacy remains alive. One of these people is Carrie Lyn of Global Management Group, who focuses on bringing long-term value to NFT holders, and ensuring that creators of the metaverse communities make a positive social impact.

“I want to memorialize the history of Rock’N Roll,” Carrie says. “Come to the Metaverse and experience the history of it, versus reading a book or watching a documentary.”

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these NFT’s will go towards building a community for rock fans. This will be achieved by investing in the House of Petals and making it the home for Rock n Roll. The objective is to ensure that the fans have a place to share their love for good music.

Rock was an integral part of Eddie’s life but he also had a mission for cancer research and treatment. Due to this mission, a portion of his NFT’s will be donated to City of Hope. The rest of the proceeds will be given towards music lessons for underprivileged music students.
