Crypto exchange Poloniex, acquired by Circle Internet Financial, Inc. at the beginning of this year, has announced that institutional accounts are now available. To commemorate the occasion, Poloniex customers will enjoy no fees on BTC/USDC trades during the month of December.
Aside from Poloniex, Circle offers institutions a range of crypto trading products and services including:
- Circle Trade – an OTC Trading desk, with a minimum order size of $250K (or equivalent), trading BTC, ETH, BCH and a wide range of other digital assets, supporting crypto-fiat and crypto-crypto transactions. Circle Trade does not custody assets for counterparties.
- USDC – a US dollar-backed stablecoin. Circle offers institutions the ability to tokenize USD into USDC, and to redeem USDC for USD
