Crypto Exchange KuCoin Teases Major Mid-August Announcement

Singapore-based crypto exchange KuCoin appears to have something big in the works for later this month.

A recent tweet by the exchange indicates that it plans to make a major announcement on August 15. However, no additional details have been given at this time as a purposeful marketing tactic.

While it’s difficult to guess what KuCoin is planning, the exchange has been releasing a steady stream of new features and listings in recent months in an effort to capture US investors who will be kicked off of Binance in September.

As we previously reported, KuCoin is conducting a temporary KuCoin Shares (KCS) buyback and burn program through the third quarter. KuCoin also recently unveiled its new Soft Staking Program, where investors receive daily distributions for holding select altcoins.
