Shapeshift CEO Erik Voorhees has announced that the Shapeshift Beta for their upgraded exchange will begin today.
Speaking at the Ethereum developer conference, ETHDenver in Colorado this past weekend, Voorhees announced that Shapeshift will begin Beta testing on their new and improved exchange starting Monday.
The upgrades to the exchange come after Shapeshifts recent move to layoff over 30 staff members, citing the bear market as the main factor.

Voorhees commented on the volatility of the crypto market, saying "If you’re going to be a company in the crypto industry, you’re attached to the severe market cycles of the industry. That’s full of good and bad,”
Shapeshift will look to revitalize their platform with added functionality and make use of leveraging multiple Shapeshift products. Users will be able to convert cryptocurrencies to other cryptocurrencies as well as manage and store their assets all on the same platform.
