Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced that he wants to be the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

He made this announcement during a live event on Twitter with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. During the event, DeSantis expressed his support for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and his opposition to a type of digital currency that would be controlled by the government.

DeSantis believes that people should have the freedom to use and trade cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. He thinks that politicians in Washington, D.C. can’t control cryptocurrencies it is the reason that they don’t like it. He also said that he would not support any laws that would ban cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin because he thinks it would take away people's rights.

Right now, DeSantis has a mix of people who like him and people who don't. About 21% of people really like him, 25% somewhat like him, 10% somewhat dislike him, and 29% really dislike him. There are also 16% of people who haven't made up their minds about him yet.

Another person running for president in 2024 is Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is a Democrat. Kennedy also supports the use of cryptocurrencies. He spoke at a conference about Bitcoin and said that he thinks people should have the right to control their own digital money and that the government should have fair rules for the industry. He wants to change the government's negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies, which many people in the crypto community would like.

In the United States, politicians are paying more attention to cryptocurrencies. Many companies that work with cryptocurrencies are trying to get the government to support them better. They are spending lots of money to talk to politicians and make them understand why cryptocurrencies are important.

One big cryptocurrency company called Coinbase has said that they want to get 50,000 people to support cryptocurrencies by the end of this year. They think that it's important for people who use and like cryptocurrencies to get involved in politics and make their voices heard.

As the 2024 election gets closer, cryptocurrencies are becoming a bigger part of the political conversation. Candidates like Ron DeSantis and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are talking about their support for cryptocurrencies, and the industry itself is trying to get more attention from politicians. The decisions that politicians make about cryptocurrencies could have a big impact on how they are used and regulated in the future.
