eBay, one of the world’s biggest e-commerce store with more than $10 billion in yearly revenue, is looking to add crypto payments and NFTs.
eBay’s CEO Jamie Iannone said in a CNBC interview the company is looking at payment options including cryptocurrency.
Iannone also said the company is exploring opportunities on how to enable NFT sales on the eBay platform.
That follows the addition of bitcoin options at its previous subsidiary, PayPal, which is now rolling out bitcoin and eth payments to their merchants.
In regards to NFTs this would be their biggest debut if eBay goes forward with it as it would in effect integrate the ethereum blockchain within the eBay platform.
Details are sparse currently however with it to be seen to what extent eBay jumps into the crypto space.
