The Tim Draper-backed investment entity will allow investors to get exposure to the investment property for as low as $1.

mogul, an American blockchain-based real estate investment entity with a unique approach, has launched its first-ever investment property offering in real estate. The offering provides an opportunity for investors to own a portion of a single-family rental (SFR) home in the Texan city of Dallas.

mogul disclosed the information in a recent announcement through an official press release today. According to the announcement, the investment opportunity will be available for interested parties by 18:00 (UTC) today. The investment will feature the mogul’s unique $1 token issuance, allowing investors to invest for as low as $1.

mogul Provides Unique Real Estate Investment Opportunities

Launched earlier this year by former Goldman Sachs employees Alex Blackwood and Joey Gumataotao, mogul employs a unique approach to real estate investment by leveraging the security and transparency of blockchain and providing investors with an opportunity to invest with as little as $1.

Utilizing blockchain technology, mogul promises several otherwise lacking benefits in traditional real estate investment entities, including lowered transaction fees, real-time appreciation, property-level governance, and daily dividends.

“Blockchain revolutionizes the ways in which we think about real estate as an asset class. The technology can cut down on transactional costs, improve efficiency and transparency, and open access to a whole new group of investors,” mogul Chief Executive Blackwood said. He noted that the firm had made a significant step into eliminating the barriers involved in real estate investments with the property offering launched today.

mogul held its pre-Seed funding round earlier, attracting investments from Tim Draper’s venture capital firm, Draper Associates; Ripple board member, 43rd Treasurer of the U.S., Rosa Rios; and former CalPERS trustee Stacie Olivares; among others. The investment amount was not disclosed.

Leveraging the funding, mogul has set up its platform, welcoming interested parties to take advantage of its opportunities. Investors can register on the platform, deposit funds, and leverage investment opportunities. The firm has also partnered with Polygon, Circle, and SoluLab, among others, to make its dream a reality.
