Edinburgh based crypto firm, Zumo has re-launched a campaign that will help the company to add more new customers. As part of the campaign, the existing customers will be rewarded with 100,000 pounds in bitcoin SV.

Zumo- an Edinburgh based cryptocurrency firm has started a campaign to give away one lakh pound of cryptocurrency in a marketing push to attract more new customers to the platform. As part of the campaign, the firm has developed a cryptocurrency wallet and payment platform.

20,000 customers signed up during the last year’s campaign when it offered free cryptocurrency to existing users who referred to new customers. Well, under the new campaign, the company has set aside around 100,000 pounds in Bitcoin SV, a cryptocurrency formed in 2018. It will be awarded to existing and new customers under the same program.

The new movement

The move came at a time when Zumo has added more bitcoin SV to its platform. It is the third cryptocurrency provided by the platform, after Bitcoin and Ethereum. These are the largest currencies currently available in the sector.

The Marketing Director of Zumo, Amelie Arras, said that it is a big moment to relaunching this popular giveaway with a bigger and better reward. The firm believes that crypto is for all, and it is the way to offer people a simple way to get comfortable with crypto without putting their own money.

Zumo was formed in 2018 in Edinburgh by Nick Jones and Paul Roach. The firm’s supporters include Coldplay’s Scots-born bassist Guy Berryman and Murray Capital. The company did the crowdfunding in August last year, which exceeded the one million pound company’s target in only four days.

Virtual card and debit card on roll

The company had also launched its virtual card that will allow customers to make purchases with cryptocurrencies at any online retailer accepting Visa. Now, the company has also rolled out the physical debit card this year, which can be used at shops or any other place which accepts visas.

The firm has an app that has hit 10,000 installations since its launch in June last year. The app took the advantage of the bull run of bitcoin, which hit a new three-year-high on November 19, 2020. Zumo is developed with one point in mind to make it accessible to everyone as it is easy to use without sacrificing security.
