CoolWallet Supports Cronos Chain
CoolWallet has good news for lovers of Cronos and Crypto.org. The secure wallet provider powered by blockchain solutions provider, CoolBitX, added support for the fast-growing network on March 14.
The move saw the protocol’s Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Non-fungible Token (NFT) wallet, CoolWallet Pro, create a co-branded wallet—CoolWallet Pro X Crypto.com. CoolWallet published a report about the integration on March 14 through its official blog page.
“CoolWallet is proud to announce that our flagship DeFi/NFT hardware wallet CoolWallet Pro now supports Cronos (CRO), formerly known as Crypto.org Coin, as well as Crypto.org Chain. CRO is the utility token of both Crypto.org Chain and Cronos EVM Chain,” the blog read.
The move was part of the platform’s plans to support Cardano Chain and Polygon Chain in the first quarter of 2022, as seen in its official blog post on March 30. Weeks after the Crypto.org chain and Cronos network integration, CoolWallet took to Twitter to remind users to purchase its credit card-shaped Bluetooth hardware wallet on April 20.
CoolWallet also urged users to purchase the CoolWallet Pro X Crypto.com wallet worth $149.00. The co-branded card wallet offers users next-level security for their assets on the Cronos chain. The wallet connects to users' smartphones (Android or iOS) through the CoolBitX app, allowing for fast and secure transactions of Cronos’ native $CRO token and more.
CoolWallet also has other co-branded wallets, including notable Bluetooth hardware wallet products for BNB Chain and Huobi. The protocol also plans to add support for other networks and exchanges in the future.
