Justin Sun recently took to Twitter to announce that TRON and Bittorrent are exploring the possibility of integrating zkEVM into their ecosystem. Also known as zk Ethereum Virtual Machine, the mechanism ensures that the transaction data is held privately with no threat to it in any manner. zkEVM enables an environment for smart contracts that is trustless and secure.
It is important to note that the thought of integrating ZKEVM into the ecosystem of TRON and Bittorrent is currently in the stage where the team is only exploring the possibilities. It may or may not be implemented in time to come.
Nonetheless, it showcases the commitment of the ecosystem to pursue innovation and enhance security for the community.
The environment leverages zero-knowledge proofs with the potential to provide a lot more to the ecosystem and the community. For instance, integrating ZKEVM increases transaction privacy and improves scalability. Moreover, ZKEVM goes the distance to offer better interoperability with other blockchains.
TRON and Bittorrent have, so far, made it clear that they will continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and explore different ways of avenues to improve their offerings.
It has received a pretty nice response from the community. A crypto influencer who goes by the name Crypto Metaverse | Web3 & NFTs & AI has called ZKEVM a cutting-edge technology. They have further added that the integration will make TRON and Bittorrent attractive to users, especially those who value privacy and security when it comes to the transaction of their digital assets.
Justin Sun from the TRON Foundation is currently chairing Guobi Global as an advisor. Justin had last shared that the team is aiming to take the market cap of its stablecoin from $40 billion to $60 billion. This came on March 17, 2023, and March 30, 3023, saw him announce that the market cap had reached closer to $50 billion. The aim of a $60 billion market cap is now being considered for a revision, taking it up a notch to $100 billion.
Before TRON and Bittorrent, Polygon had announced plans to explore the utility of zk technology for Main Chain. This was a part of making Polygon advance in the goal of becoming an ecosystem that is secured by the zk technology.
Following that announcement, Polygon came up with the idea that it would launch ZKEVM Mainnet Beta tentatively on March 27, 2023. A point for discussion at that time was that ZKEVM marks a major improvement in cryptography and blockchains with the objective of increasing the speed and security of transactions.
That is something that TRON and Bittorrent have quoted as well. Meaning there is surely productive content in the line that is waiting to go live across the networks for the betterment of the community. Updates, if any, on integrating ZKEVMinto TRON and Bittorrent are awaited.
