A few days ago, a Ferrari 360 Modena was sold in Bitcoin in Padua. The dealership that sold the car was Veloce Classic in the capital of Veneto and the operation was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Italian company tinkl.it.

Daniele Pregnolato, CEO of tinkl.it, explained:

“We are pleased and very satisfied to have responded to a specific requirement of the buyer, thanks to our service at zero cost for the dealer, all the more so in an extremely particular historical moment. This agreement can become the basis for a further spread of the digital currency as an objectively recognized payment system.”

Tinkl.it is an Italian fintech company that designed and developed the first bitcoin payments processor. The company is part of the Italian exchange group The Rock Trading.

Tinkl.it has therefore given the dealership the ability to accept bitcoin payments. For its part it is worth mentioning that Veloce Classic cashed in euros via wire transfer and not bitcoin. It will therefore not hold bitcoin, as these were immediately converted to euros, so the dealer is not exposed to the volatility of BTC.

Veloce Classic stated for its part:

“We thank the buyer who introduced us to this new world and the company tinkl.it for following us from start to finish with great professionalism and making this sale possible.”

How to buy Ferraris and other cars with bitcoin

While Tesla declared a few days ago that it has bought bitcoin worth $1.5 billion and it is therefore rumoured that soon it will also be possible to buy Elon Musk’s cars by paying in BTC. It is fair to say that this is not the first time that a car has been bought in crypto.

The Post Oak Motor Cars dealership in Houston already in 2018 sold its first Bentley for bitcoin.

There are also several websites that specialize in selling cars precisely with payments in bitcoin, such as Bitcars or Buy Buysellcarwithbitcoin.com where you can find all the ads of owners willing to accept this form of payment.
